How was your weekend? Mine was relaxing to say the least.

After hanging with my family all day Saturday (and singing and dancing to Footloose over and over with my nephews), we visited Raven's mom in her new old house in Litchfield County.

Raven's mom and her boyfriend have been renovating this old farmhouse from top to bottom for years, and it's almost finished. Almost everything in the house is found - from old chandeliers, to signs and marble sinks. It's an incredible piece of art and Raven and I couldn't stop talking about how peaceful it is.

Not to mention it's smack dab in the middle of an enormous field (with raspberry bushes and grape vines- is this real life??)...

Charlie got to run off leash and was in heaven.

Raven got to take pictures, and was in heaven.

I got to nap in the sun and was in heaven.
