Hi again!
A little after Memorial Day weekend this year, I decided it was high time I got into shape. Not just my normal routine of a few workouts a month, the occasional cardio class here and there, the all but rare run through the park - I wanted to actually get off my butt and move.
9 weeks and almost 50 workouts later, I'm in shape! I haven't lost weight, haven't run more than 2 miles, but I'm strong and that is the best feeling ever. My good friend (and neighbor!) Dari told me in passing this summer that she really loved doing Tone It Up workouts. She is a hottie WITH a body, and that was all the push I needed to purchase a couple of their videos and give it a whirl. 3 weeks in, I could already feel how much stronger I was. I saw muscles where there had been none, and I could see a little more of my natural waist as I lost inches.
ANYway, I have always told myself that if I ever really got into a workout routine, I would outfit myself with some fresh workout apparel. I own 2, count 'em, two pairs of workout leggings, and I think it's time to make a little bit more of an investment in my strength. If you're on the same page, here's what I've been eyeing lately:
