what i'm coveting for my apartment

We love a good drink around here at LRW. With the season premiere of Mad Men fast approaching, I feel my eyes slowly wandering to the bottle of gin sitting on my counter, and it has me thinking...

Bar carts.

We've got a little sliver of space in the living room, and it would so perfectly fit a mini bar. Something like this:

This is used as a nightstand, but I like the idea of putting it next to the couch; lamp, candle, books on top, bar on bottom.

Or maybe this?

This one is doing triple duty as an entry way piece, bookshelf and bar. Heck, one could even do their makeup in the mirror as they pre-game (wink).

I also love the idea of using it to supplement lack of space in the kitchen.

Society Social has an especially gorgeous line of bar carts. I just might have to take one of these home with me soon!

What do you think of bar carts? Would you use one?
