Now that our invitations went out (whaaaaat!?), I am so excited to share my most favorite part of our wedding: our crest! A few years ago I saw Happy Menocal's work in a magazine and I knew immediately that I wanted to work with her for our big day. She totally got our vision for our invitations and this crest is the crown jewel.

Throughout all of the insanity of wedding planning, it's easy to forget that you and your partner are becoming family. Every Irish family has a crest (this is the O'Connor crest), and I love the idea that as Raven and I start our own family, we get to have a unique crest as well. This crest is on our invites, will be plastered all over our wedding, and for years to come I'll obnoxiously affix it to anything that I deem even somewhat appropriate.

So there you have it! I've been sitting on that crest for about 6 months and it feels AWESOME to get it out there.
