I had such a blast with my ladies this weekend. My family has a house in Old Lyme, CT (my Grandma grew up spending summers at the same beach!) and we ventured out Friday afternoon. We had grand plans to visit a local winery, but ended up beaching it and bumming around the entire time. There were many glasses of wine, fits of laughter, and long long looong conversations. I could talk to these gals for hours and never run out of things to say.

You may have heard me mention a very special girls weekend coming up a week from tomorrow, and needless to say, I'm pumped up. I woke up today to torrential downpour, and thinking about the beach, the wind, good friends, and lots of wine made me want to dream up an awesome outfit for the trip. Let's just say that if I wasn't on a shopping hiatus, one of the following would be coming home with me...

1. lacy tops.
2. lots o' block.
3. color. so much color (preferably neon).
4. loosey goosey bra.
5. the best mules ever.
6. cutoffs!!
7. a tote that ends up filled with sand.
8. an endless supply of wine.
