cyber monday deal: curated gift lists!

Oh MAN am I excited about this.

If you hate shopping, even if you love it, the stress and indecision that come along with gift-giving can take the magic out of the Holidays.

I don’t feel this way, which is why I want to do your shopping this year.

Maybe you can't decide what to buy your significant other, maybe you're on a tight budget, or maybe you don't have the time to spend figuring out what to buy. I'd love to do the work for you.

I'm so pumped to offer curated gift guides, which is a fancy way of saying: I will scour the web and create a list of potential presents for that hard-to-shop-for person (or people!) on your list. 

I have a good friend who contacts me every year around this time to ask for my suggestions / opinions on gifts for his wife. I always look forward to his text because it means I get to solve a problem for him, save him money, and his wife gets the added benefit of an awesome gift. 

This year, I want to help him and I want to help you! I'm offering two guides, one with 5 suggestions, and one with 10. You can buy either option below, and will be prompted to fill out a short form when you click purchase. Here's an example of the information you can add:

At the very bottom, there's an option  to have a phone consultation with me, just in case you have a lot to say about the person / people you need help shopping for. I highly suggest it, but totally get it that sometimes you want to accomplish a task without having to speak to a single person. ;)

Last but SO FAR FROM LEAST: I am donating $1 of every single transaction to charity! When you buy a gift list from me, you can choose to donate that dollar to Planned Parenthood or the ASPCA, two charities very close to my heart.

Friends: I am in sweatpants and my stomach is primed to take in bountiful portions of mashed potatoes, caesar salad, stuffing, and every other delicious Thanksgiving side you can imagine (no turkey for me!). Oh, and pie. My mom makes FOUR PIES every year...for 10 people. That is a fantastic ratio. Now that I am knee deep in nephews, I'm really, really jazzed about Christmas. gift guide: tiny humans

Friends! Did you have a good weekend? I did! I spent QT with good friends and had many an adult beverage on Friday night. More to come on that soon, but... Thanksgiving is in THREE DAYS! THREE DAYS! That means that I get to hang out with my nephews in 3 days and I cannot contain my excitement. Since I have them on the brain, I thought today would be the perfect time to do a kid's gift guide. We don't really talk about babies that much here on LRW, but since I am old now, they are a welcome inevitability. Check it:

gift guide: that guy

Friends, I am freaking out. I was up from 3:00-5:00am this morning just freaking out about my 30th birthday. Up until now, I haven't cared that much, but somehow all of these suppressed fears reared their ugly heads in the middle of the night (What am I doing with my life? I'm not making enough money for my age! Did I really live in my 20's!?). The fact is, this is my last day being 29. This is my last day in my 20's. I know last week I said I'd be immature forever, but suddenly I feel this need to wake up tomorrow and be a full blown adult. Which means today I feel like I am wasting my time if I'm not living life to the fullest. Like tomorrow suddenly I won't be able to move or have fun. There's no real conclusion to this outburst, I just hope the feeling subsides as the day goes on, because I have an awesome day planned today! Something I always feel good about, however, is shopping. So I'm pretty amped about today's gift guide, which is for that Mister Man in your life - friend, boyfriend, husband, Dad, brother, etc...hopefully there is something on here for him.
