Goodness I am so happy it's Friday! It has been a busy week round here and I am looking forward to spending time in CT with my 2 guys at Raven's mom's house (and attending our tasting, of course). But first! I'm up super early this morning for my makeup trial! Guys, I have been looking forward to this for actual months. I've hired the uber talented Tricia from Jennie Fresa for the big day (she did my makeup in the photo above), so we'll see what we come up with today! What are you all up to this weekend? Welcome to the darkest, wettest, soppiest Friday of all time! It's so dark in my apartment right now, I have the light on - hoping for a little sun later today. On the docket this weekend is some much needed wedding organizing (just making sure I have all the vendor info, update the registry, paper sourcing) as well as drinks to celebrate two of my favorite people on Saturday night. Since Raven and I had guests last weekend, we're looking forward to catching up on sleep and lounging on Sunday, with a possible trip to the park (so Charlie can run some energy out). We made it! We. made. it. Happy Friday to you, my friends! Thank you to everyone who sent love, light, support, and high fives to me for last night's workshop at The Brass Owl. I had such a blast and the night was a wonderful success. It's so nice to connect with fellow Astorians and lovers of fashion, and it was great going over some of this Spring's trends with Nicole, the owner of TBO (I found out last night that her background is in fashion and she was a buyer for huge companies for YEARS - super inspiring). If you haven't visited The Brass Owl, I highly encourage you to do so. Happy Friday! My unexpected snow day yesterday totally threw me off - it doesn't feel like Friday, but I'll take it! What are you all up to this weekend? Raven and I are beginning our home search on Sunday - we're pretty sure we're moving to CT later this year! There are so many mixed feelings about it (Yesterday I went from 'I can't wait to share a home with you!' to 'I'm sad.' Seriously.), but we keep reminding ourselves that we're in the education / learning stage of it all - no commitment yet! Currently coming at you from Farmington, CT en route to Vermont for a ski-kend (ski weekend...yeah??) with our buddies Kevin and Cara. I think I might be the only person who is still loving the snow and cold. It's a gorgeous day here and I'm so excited to spend the weekend holed up with my favorites by the fire with a vat glass of wine. Whatever you're up to, I hope it's fantastic.
