welcome to the new LRW!

WELCOME to LRW! I spent all day yesterday (and I mean ALL. DAY.) getting the kinks out of the new site so I could show you all...what do you think!?

So, funny story. Originally, I was going to work on the site this weekend to have it ready for Monday, but since I am the worst at delayed gratification, yesterday, with the slightest bit of encouragement, I decided to dive head first into working on the site. I thought, oh, it will be done in a few hours, no problem! I was wrong. I was sooooo wrong. I was still working on the site last night at midnight, and there is STILL more to do (for example, I don't know why there are 2 of every top image for each post - working on it!), but like I said, no more waiting! Here it is in all its glory, and I really hope you love it as much as I do!

Special thanks to the most incredible graphic designer (though she is so much more) Patti Murphy, for the most exceptional logo and site branding. Please go hire Patti, she's one of the coolest people in the world and she is so immensely talented. Thanks, of course, to Ashley of Ashley Caroline Photography for hooking me up with amazing pictures for my site! And thanks to Joe Power for helping me realize my logo dreams :).

This week inadvertently turned into travel week, so I had to finish it up with a beautiful picture of Costa Rica! Raven and I are getting so excited for the trip, it's all we've been talking about. Today, I'm getting a gel manicure at this place, which my friend recommended. Happy FRIDAY! I'm excited to share a little preview of my shoot with Victoria Gloria and The Local Vault, above (more to come later!). TGIF and Happy August, friends! What are you up to this weekend? Mine is LRW packed, no time to lounge around in an adorably cozy house (see above- those details!). This morning I have a photoshoot to look forward to, which I'm pretty (understatement) excited about. Tomorrow I'm assisting / on-site styling a wedding (again, !!!), and Sunday I'm meeting a client for a closet makeover. Someone pinch me, please.

We made it, friends! Friday at last. As soon as this post hits the web, I'm off to CT again for another weekend with my family. Raven has to work so he won't be joining, but I'll have my hands full with my two nephews (and access to my sister's pool!), so I'm not complaining.
